Thank you for your visit and kind words about our nature center. We're glad you stopped by and enjoyed all the nature center has to offer. We also offer free programs on a variety of topics (family-friendly included). Please stop by again sometime!
We drove up to lookout mountain just to kill some time. The views were amazing, though we didn't even get out of the car. I guess we aren't real interested in naturistic views, but it would be a great attraction for a nature lover!
Thank you for visiting our nature center and preserve. Aren't our staff and volunteers the best? We're so glad you were able to meet them and learn more about the world around you. Stop back sometime. We'd love to chat more!
Thanks for visiting our nature center. We have to agree that we make for a good "jumping off" point for visitors and community members. We hope you were able to see some of our remote wildlife camera photos that have captured numerous animals on film at our nature preserve! Thanks for visiting and please stop back again when you're back in town.
Thank you for visiting us! We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your time spent inside of our exhibit hall. We hope you visit us again soon. There are great trails near the visitor center that also focus on sustainability including our natural environment.
Thanks for visiting Lookout Mountain Nature Center. It sounds like you had a great trip. Isn't it incredible to see how many critters call Lookout Mountain home? We frequently update that monitor with new photos, so please stop back and visit again in the future.
Thank you for visiting us at Lookout Mountain Nature Center. We're glad you enjoyed your time as you visited our exhibits and beautiful outdoors. We're very proud of our "green" nature center with its incorporation of many local, reused, recycled, low-impact, and healthier materials.
Thanks for visiting us! We love Golden and Colorado too. Please come back some time soon! As the seasons change, so do the sights and sounds.
Thank you for visiting our nature center Angela. We're sorry to hear that you missed stopping at some of the vistas up our beautiful mountain. The top of the mountain does offer several “lookouts” as its namesake would suggest. From our nature center, you can see through the trees with close to 360-degree views. Buffalo Bill’s Grave and Museum (located on Lookout Mountain Road) has spotting scopes and a viewing deck if you are hoping to see Denver and its surrounding cities. Our nature center has been designed to focus on the local plants and animals that you can find in this region of Colorado (the foothills ecosystem). We hope to achieve that through our interactive indoor exhibits as well as outdoor trails and preserve. Please stop back sometime to get the inside scoop on Colorado’s amazing offerings.
