Perfect for locals, easy access, no parking fees. Good for swimming, sun-bathing, fishing off the pier.
You have to look for this little spot beyond a twisting road behind the airport next to UCSB. There is a beachfront cafe and a sturdy pier great for strolling. Yeah, there's some tar. Get some Wesson Oil and get over it. Nice mountain view from the pier. Love it.
What an amazing beach with miles of sand - must be careful for tides, as low tide is when you can walk for miles. Otherwise high tides make you scamper on the rocks!
Beautiful and romantic. Great for walks along the beach. Wonderful in the morning and at sunset. Soothing of the mind comes naturally on this fabulous beach.
The beach was a bit rocky and crowded (at least when we were there during Thanksgiving). The beach is basically a camp ground so you have deal with a large number of campers on holidays
This is a really nice beach to walk on, as well as sit and watch the waves (there are several park benches scattered around). There is plenty of parking, so if you work close by, you can zip over and catch an amazing sunset after work.
Everyone has ressponsible pet practices. The locals and visitors share the joy of dog ownership on the beaches.
On our drive back up the California Coast, we stopped at this park. It has a nice pier, nice area for walking with good views of the ocean, and nice area for picnics.
take a sunset walk on Goleta Pier and Beach.great bird watching; easy parking; probably not ideal for swimming as there is a lot of seaweed and ocean plants that wash up here.
This is a great all-around beach, that has just about everything going for it except water warm enough for me. Great pier, beautiful beach, good food and close to UCSB.
