I don't hand out the "excellent" readily, but The Edge really has earned the five stars.For a nominal fee, you can get a fun work-out on either end of a rope.The staff are a great bunch and the place is just plain challenging fun.Here's how it works.1. You decide you want to scamper up a vertical cliff by way of meager hand and foot holds.2. You get a friend who has no interest in your mad vertical scampering to come along.3. Both of you have a good time and both of you get a work-out.4. The "clamberer" hooks on to one one of a rope which is wrapped around a pulley a couple of stories above the padded "ground".5. The sedate friend hooks into the other end of the rope.Number 5 is the person who gets lots of upper-body exercise by both keeping your climbing life-line taught while you go off on your foolish errand and acting as your brake if/when you lose your grip.The climber builds muscle and courage as he/she battles fear and fatigue picking their way up a couple of dozen climbing stations/situations.Great fun.

Best climbing gym for the best price. The edge isn't a big gym but it is great. They cater to climbers of all skill levels and reset the routes often. I'm a regular and i haven't found a reason to complain.
