What's not to like about this place? Ice cream and a carousel. On a cold winter day, when you can't be outside, it's a nice diversion.
Nice old carousel. Ice cream and candy sold on site. Just like old times. Located just off the entrance to our hotel...the Best Western. Also, there is a mini outdoor theater outside where performers put on plays and acts.
You can't beat this for families with very young children. Attached to an ice cream parlor and next to a children's museum.
Kids paradise, and adults enjoy it too. Must see the carousel animals, truly a work of art. Ice cream inside building is a definite bonus.
My wife and I discovered this attraction while taking the Tour Train...you get free admission when you purchase your tour. I looked it up on-line and heard it had unique animals...I did not want to spoil the surprise so I did not look at any pictures. We drove out and went into the building. I was really impressed! I had never seen animals like this ever on a carousel! Bears, Big Horn Sheep, Mountain Goats, trout, wolves, etc. All the native animals of Montana! My wife had never been on a carousel so this was the first time for her! We really enjoyed it and watching the children have so much fun was a real joy! We bought a second ride we enjoyed it so much! I also had a nice ice cream treat made in Montana! Try the Wilcoxson Huckleberry Ice Cream Bar! Delicious! A very nice attraction for all ages!!
The carousel is very entertaining and the lines are never long. It is my favorite place to take my grandchildren and children I babysit. The staff could smile more and interact with the children more, but they are never rude.
Was very empty due to the cold. Grandson loved riding the carousel and I had a great Bannana Milkshake.
This wonderful carousel had the most delightful, local wildlife to ride on - bear, antelope, otter, even a salmon! The ride was long and you could try to catch the brass ring. We finished our visit off with a delicious ice cream. All four of us are over 65 and we had a great time.
Great fun for my niece and nephew. They loved trying for the brass ring and selecting a different mount for each ride. Inexpensive treat.
It was "our" first time riding on a Carousel together! I felt like a kid again! :)Be sure to stop here and take the kiddos or just go yourself!! Lots of cool shops and great restaurants too! If you have time, you can check out a movie too!
