The Cathedral is lovely - and we enjoyed strolling through it - gorgeous stained glass windows, etc. We never expected to see such a gorgeous, huge cathedral in Montana!!!
I read reviews of the St. Helena Cathedral on Trip Advisor, and they lived up to how fantastic this place is. It is well worth the visit - stunning architecture and design (stained glass is phenomenal) to appreciate.
This church is amazing in its beauty and worship atmosphere. It's so big it takes a few visits to feel at home here but it's congregation, staff and spiritual leaders are warm and welcoming people.
This catholic church in the heart of Helena is a beautiful and amazing stop. We stopped on a week day to just sight see and experience the beauty of the cathedral. I sure it would be a fantastic experience to attend mass. If you are spending some time in the Helena area stop in to take in this landmark.
The St. Helena Cathedral is the perfect place to start your visit in Helena. An inspirational building located in the heart of Helena. I hope you find the warm, welcoming spirit that my brother White Buffalo and I found when wevisited.
The Saint Helena Cathedral is an inspiring piece of architecture - beautiful and well appointed. Did you know, there once was a pilot who flew is little airplane right between the spires of this magnificent cathedral?
Whether you are Catholic or non-Catholic, do not miss this Helena Landmark during any visit to Helena. Make the time, if you don't have the time. Oh, and any stories that you may here or that someone may tell you of a small plane flying between the Cathedral's twin spires is patently false. But it's a fun story to think about anyway. An evening trip to view the Cathedral under its lighting is inspiring.
The Cathedral sticks out like a sore thumb. It is quite unexpected to see in Helena, does not blend in. That being said, it is beautiful and is worth the time to go inside and walk through, see the amazing stain glass windows and chandeliers. They do not have churches like this in Southern California and our kids were in awe of the architecture and beauty.
Very nice old church with beautiful architecture. The church was open so they let you walk around to see the grounds and the sanctuary.
The Helena Symphony performed Handel's Messiah so beautifully it sounded heavenly. I hope to be able to attend next year!
