Run by the artists that produce the goods....always great to support a consortium like this! Art is varied; I especially love the Alaska photos.
I really liked the variety and friendly staff. The price range of items was also good with some fun and inexpensive items as well as larger and consequently more expensive pieces.
An artist run co-op that has wonderful art work at reasonable prices. Jewelry, pottery, hand turned wooden bowls and vases, woven scarves, paintings and prints for your perusal. The actual artists work there and you can even watch them make their artwork. I found and purchased beautiful jewelry and a wonderful print of otters for family members. Well worth opening the door and going inside.i
Enjoyed many of the pieces. The clerk was well versed in the meanings and history of the more unusual natural pieces.
Stopped by and dropped some $ but love all that I bought. They were raising money for a scholarship, what a great cause.
Very nice collection of art made by local artists. Great selection and the prices seemed reasonable,.
It's an artist co-op so there is lots of variety in the shop from the types of art and price points. I went with a group and we all came out with something completely different that will be treasured keepsakes of our visit to Homer - unlike some of the shops on the Spit.
Lots of local artisans all in one place. I bought a bunch of handcrafted woodwork and souvenirs, best shopping of our trip. Check it out (and the store next door too)!
So many fine artists show here in this collective.Great place to get giftsDiversity and variety of Media
This is the second time I have visited Ptarmigan Arts in Homer. It presents excellent variety of art with helpful service. I found unique and reasonable gifts, as well as two paintings. I strongly recommend a visit.
