They were very friendly and helpful when we were looking for shops around Whistler Village. Nothing was a bother to ask and directions were accurate.
The Visitor Centre is a useful place to check in and orientate yourself in Whistler. There are lots of maps and leaflets for activities. The staff are very helpful, but also very thorough and don't seem to phased by trying to be a bit more efficient if there are lots of people waiting to be assisted. So do try and get there early, or don't expect rapid assistance during peak times.
It's a place of dreams, so beaultiful, with a lot of restaurantes and stores. I just love it!!! You have to go no understand.
proffessinal staff, lots of useful maps and brochures, an efficient accommodation service (yet, doesn't give all available choices).Reservations of all attractions.Go there when you arrive in order to plan logically, knowing all the prices and possibilities.
very friendly people. knowledgeable. They really dont tell you about the peak 2 peak though :) you should do that for sure and the scandinav spa.
Whilst staying in Whistler I went in here a couple of times, once to find a recommendation for dinner and secondly to book some tours. Both times the staff members were extremely helpful and able to attend to all of our needs.
On a previous trip we stayed outside the Village, but spent all our time walking back and forth. This trip we stayed in the Village at the Pan Pacific Hotel. What a difference. Right in the middle of everything and definitely the place to stay.
We wanted to Purchase some tickets from the activities side, however the sales representative helped one woman for over 40 minutes while we stood in line so I gave up and left. Nice maps of the village.
I would like to say how helpful the accommodation desk were at the visitor centre. On arrival at Whistler, my husband and I had no idea what what was what, and the young man on the desk helped us find a quiet hotel, which was what we wanted. He then booked a room on our behalf.
We stopped by the Visitor Centre several times during our stay in Whistler and each time the staff was eager to help. They were very knowledge about things to do in the area, dining suggestions, and even gave us ideas for what to do when we traveled to Vancouver.
