Nice waves, nice people, no services provided (wild beach with restaurants nearby). Is where everybody goes to be seen and see.
Lovely place to be on a hot day in Jose.Whether you're young and cool or a family, all are welcome here.Only problem is not many places to buy beer or go to the toilet (other than the sea!)
Best beach of the town, on the outskirts of Punta. 20km more or less from Playa Brava, so be sure to have a car.
Pristine unspoiled beach of golden sands with rolling dunes behind. At the beginning of December almost not another person to be seen. Limited deck chairs available. Lifeguards present. Better for walking than sunbathing. La Huella parador is perfectly positioned for a drink or lunch. The sea is cold...
The white sand and calm waters are stunning and most importantly it does not getter overcrowded. You have great beach restaurants as well as superb La Huella and La Susana restaurants. The sunsets are amazing!
Being a Brazilian, I have seen so many beautiful beaches that frankly could not enjoy too much the beach. I can not recomend it unless you have spare time
As all Punta del Este's beaches, the water is very, very cold. But at least the sand is whitish. Since it's the "in" place to go, it has a lot of good restaurants close by, such as La Huella, and cozy bards and shops.
The place to see and to be seen! Jose Ignacio has a very cool atmosphere. Remember people go to the beach around 4 - 5 pm in Punta area.
The expectations were high, due to the face and also the nice surroundings, but the beach itself is nothing much. Nice clean sand and thats it, the water is brown and was freezing cold, even during summer/high season. The chairs/umbrellas for rent cost USD 50!!!
AMEI esta praia. Tranquila, sem muito agito, limpinha, com um farol lindo e boa para caminhar.vale parar no restaurante na beira da areia para almoçar antes de passar a tarde na praia.
