Never tire of strolling around this area. Lots of atmosphere. Great restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Take a waterbus to Penarth or into the city, or have a trip round the bay in the little Daffodil boat. Lovely!
Very pretty place- can look right across Cardiff Bay. Easy access from the M4. No shops though but plenty of restaurants. Certainly worth visiting
because there is nothing to do exciting things you can go around the place in couple of minutes . i would rather go to old ruined castles in Cardiff.
The Quay is the ideal place for a summer evening drink or anytime the sun shines. It gets busy on Fridays and Saturdays and during special events but well worth a visit. Take a boat ride or chill with a beer, glass of wine or a coffee and watch the world go by.
there is something for everyone, restaurants, theatre ,a walk along the barrage and if you fancy, there's always a boat trip into the city, which drop's you off by the Stadium in town.
what can I say, loads of places to eat and drink, spoilt for choice!all very clean and amazing views over Cardiff Bay
Modern but full of character, had a wander through after a recent theatre trip. Looked like there were plenty of well known bars and restaurants to try, wish it hadn't been so late when we passed through. Was a little surprised at how quiet it was at 10.30 on a Saturday night though. Really beautiful.
Mermaid Quay and the surrounding area has a cosmopolitan feel to it. There are: restaurants galore from Indian to Italian and everything in between; Museums; theatres; boardwalks; statues and stunning views across to England. A great place to visit for all of the family.
Great place to go for an afternoon or evening meal and drink. Summertime is always buzzing with people and an excellent choice of restaurants and bars to choose from
I love this location with lots of brilliant high quality restraunts such as cafe rouge pizza express Bella Italia les iguanas and of course nandos
