Peaceful, big parking, clean toilets, wounderfol vew nice walk to the vewpoint ,coffee ,sugarwaffle and icecream for sale @ the parking.
On our private tour this was the first waterfall we saw. Though very pretty, we were told the water levels were down so wasn't what it should look like.
A unique falls for us . Rather than the river shooting out over the top of a cliff these falls have carved through the rock and come out midway down the rockface . It's about 5 minutes from the lot to the viewpoint . A great introduction to the beauty of the park .
this geological marvel is very unique. Love the rock formations and the incredible deep canyon carved so long ago. There used to be a campground here but it was decommissioned years ago.
WOW, I couldn't say enough about this Park. The Falls are absolutely fantastic. We were fortunate enough to have awesome Autumn Weather and very few other visitors while we were there. There are several view points and a few trails off from the Parking lot to explore. A must see, if you are in the area! The only 'beware' I would add is that from the end of September to May? the washrooms are closed. There are many little stops all the way up to/past Helmchen Falls that so have outhouses however.
I cannot believe how beautiful this place is. It is a simple and easy ride from Highway 16 in Clearwater. It was a simple and easy walk to the Falls.
This was just a quick stop enrolee but I loved these falls, not sure where the name came from but the canyon is narrow with the water forced through a narrow opening with quite a drop. The rock formation and vegetation here is just stunning.
Normal fall. Many visitors as its the first one on the road. Would suggest driving further to view Helmcken Falls.
Beautiful falls that are easy to get to - just a short five minute walk. The falls in this area are definitely worth exploring even though it is not super convenient!
We loved the serene atmosphere created by the beautiful surroundings of Spahats Falls. These falls are smaller than the nearby Helmcken Falls, both in water volume and height, but where Spahats lacks the power of Helmcken, it more than makes up for it in serene beauty reminiscent of a Japanese garden. We loved it.
