Watched many different concerts and sport events in this arena. The arena meets my expectations anytime.Easy access, freeway exit very close, parking right next to it.Most seats offer a great viewing experience. Would not recommend the highest level seats - you are just too far away from the event. The arena offers many shops to get all you need during breaks quickly.
I had the pleasure to listen to a concert in this beautiful structure. Easy access, easy way out, the seats a bit uncomfortable and narrow in the bleachers, but a great view and sound!
I have seen large acts here (Beyonce) and sporting events (ice hockey) on both occasions the venue was well prepared. There was very little in the way of queues and it was easy to access via the tram system.
the arena is brilliantly set up, easy to access, good visibility for the stage from most seats as well as a good variety of refreshments. Black Fooss band new year eve (Silvester Party) were as usual completely awesome with most of the people in the arena singing along for the entire 4 hours that they were on stage. Fabulous fireworks over Koln city at midnight.
We attended a David Garrett concert here & despite its vast size, the venue was comfortable & well organised. Food & drink outlets were plentiful & toilets were clean. We particularly appreciated the roving beer & sparkling wine sellers! However, event merchandise was difficult to find. Acoustics were good from our seats on the main arena floor. Public transport is a short walk away.
First visited the arena for work in 2004-5, been back regularly since. This time it waseven better with more choice of food and drinks. Really comfortable, great views and acoustics, with one of the best match days (hockey) I've ever experienced. Cheap, fun and really has to be enjoyed!
We had tickets to see Andre Rieu but not the choice on their location within the arena. There is an escalator to the top level but from there its steps to the seat so think carefully about the ticket location if one has walking difficulties!
I was there in the month of Jan 2014 to watch the ice hokey. The experience was really great, because it was my first experience. The connectivity to this place is very easy.
We went to Cologne to see Queen + Adam Lambert in concert. We had great seats at the front and side just above the standing area. The arena is compact enough to have all seats with a good view and feeling a part of the concert. A great place to see your favourite act/band.
Went to see Andre Rieu. The arena is not dauntingly large, lots of foodie opportunities and toilets.Everything felt safe but if you've no head for heights book in the lower seats.
