Despite my fear of heights my husband and I had a fun trip on these little cable cars. Good views to be had as you traverse the Rhine.
To use this attraction we especially moved to this part of city - and just to recognize that it is closed - only small sign "Winterpause" or something like that was displayed! I did not find the information about this "winterpause" in internet before. Also in booklets I got in tourist information there were no word about it. So it was the waste of time to get there and away. Disappointing!
We had a very pleasant walk along the river front in the sun and were really looking forward to the cable car but found out it was closed! It's a shame no details of opening hours on trip advisor! It took an hour there and back so quite disappointedI had downloaded cologne from trip advisor in case no internet but really should have had opening hours. We went at midday on Saturday! Not good
I took a one way trip with my wife, we enjoyed the views of the city and the Rhine river, quite a wonderful experience on a cable car seeing cologne in another way. Absolutely I recommend it.
Nice way to see Cologne from another perspective. The queue was surprisingly long so we had to wait for quite a while. We took just one way, got out on the other side and walked down the rhine which was really nice. Funny anecdote: you can see the nudes from the spa at the end of the trip! They are right under you! So Cologne!
Nice place to chill at and see cologne city from the top but its only 15 minutes so its very short ... Amazing atmosphere at the top and at the same time you can go to the zoo which is so close to it
hi we took a one way trip across the rhine and i must admit i was terrified but it was definitely worth it for the sights and the experience, the day we visited it was very quiet and for 18 euros not too bad ,we then walked through the park to the koeln triangle .
This is an exhilarating and interesting ride. It is relatively inexpensive and provides a good means of getting to the zoo. You see a wonderful panorama of Cologne.
Absolutely! On a sunny day much more beautiful, i assume. It was also good, even there were some clouds. We all enjoyed it, especially the kids.I recommend!!!
We took the cable car over one way, then walked through the park and on to a ferry that returned us to the cathedral side of the river. Views from the Seilbahn were lovely (and it was a little freaky to be up there over the water).
