What happened to the other 6 colors of the rainbow? Okay, so I really expected a more colorful bridge. For a sleepy little town though, it's an eye opener. It stands out through the surrounding green foliage and I did walk out to the end of town to take a picture of it. :D
The views from this bridge are gorgeous. Incredible spot to take photos from. The bridge itself...is a bridge. But definitely worth taking a look at if you are in the area.
It had great views but was a little narrow for cars and cyclists, we walked our bikes across. You could see our lodge from there.
This bridge is good for two things driving over and taking pictures of. To get a good picture of it park in downtown La Conner and head for the water. You will have a great view of the bridge and get a plus; a great view of the best of La Conner, the dock/shore line. Like several towns in this area La Conner was a big surprise to me. My memory of 50 years ago had La Conner as a don't bother place, BUT not now. It is a nicely kept artie town with a view that includes the subject bridge, shops and eateries.
Nice perspective from shore, on drive over, and while boating under. The engineers got this one right.!
This is a well panned well located bridge. Does not look like one of the eye sores of a structure. Infact when you sit at teh marina it actually enhances the view. With name being Rainbow bridge I just feel they should have had a rainbow of colours. Worth seeing.
We had a group picnic at Pioneer Park at the East end of the Rainbow Bridge. Beautiful, shady location for a summer picnic in the park.
The views from the bridge are great but at the end of the day, it's a bridge. You either walk over it or drive over it.
An interesting bridge. Drive over it and drive under it to fully appreciate it. Very photographic and in a beautiful part of the state of Washington.
If you are really into photography than it's a great photo op other than that? Really not a great walk, lots of traffic and not easily accessible, La Conner has lots of things to do the bridge is really just eye candy.
