Staff were really welcoming & helped with wine choice as well as recommending shared starters as there were eight of us.Like most Portugese restaurants they specialise in fish, with a good selection. Portions were a bit on the large size & three of us were unable to clear our plates which is not the norm!For those sitting on the outside decking there were blankets available.The restaurant it is only approx two years old and very contemporary, it has huge picture windows facing out to sea but we visited at night do wasted in us, next time we plan to go back for lunch as it appears to have a great position out of town close to the lighthouse.

Camilo Beach is one of the best beeches in Lagos, in fact it is really 2 beaches connected by a small tunnel. Although it is not a very large, there are a few caves that you can enter (at low tide), the down side is that it is not very friendly if a) you are not very fit, or b) if you have young children with push chairs etc. because there are over a 100 step down to the beach. The other down side is that the beach faces east, therefore the sun disappears behind the sand stone cliffs around 4 to 5 o'clock. But apart from that I still think that it is a wonderful beach.

Great beach to walk to from Lagos. Very quiet in February and at high tide very little beach remains.

Food was overpriced and tasteless, staff was rude and ignored us, even when it came time to pay, they ignored us!

this is obviously a great beach with millions of steps down. I found it much more relaxing then Praia Dona Ana, not sure why but it just felt more chilled out.

Lovely little beach that is very quiet out of season. Great cliff-top walks, and a super fish restaurant up above the beach, with fantastic views across Lagos, Meia Praia Beach, and out to sea

This is, without saying, one of the most beautiful beaches in the whole world. Pristine sand, clean, blue water, lovely rock formations... We were sitting for hours alone on the beach in awe of the beauty.But I bet that during the winter it gets really crowded.

If you don't mind going up and down alot of steps and your knees can handle it, this place is well worth a visit. The views are amazing! We did the steps with our 3 year old and managed just fine. No one was on the beach so he had all of the sand to himself which he loved. Very peaceful and a wonderful spot for photos.

this is a beach surrounded by rocky walls, so it is protected from the wind and turned to the sun almost all day long. the water is transparent clear blue, with rocks a few meters away from the coast, that make it fun to swim or row to. then, there is physical activity implied in getting to the beach, as you must descend (and then climb) long wooden staircase to get down there. but it is worth every step.As a reward, you can treat yourself to the marvelous restaurant on top of the beach facing the glorious ocean as the day ends.
