A delight in a growing community which continues to offer many artistic experiences which include gallery exhibits of artists works and a highly regarded art festival which is held every September. A lovely stone building on the main street of downtown Lakeville which hosts a performing arts series throughout the year. The Center also hosts the "Taste of Lakeville" sponsored by the Lakeville Rotary, an event which has been a very successful fundraiser and social event. Enjoy another fun fundraising event "Beer, Brats and Bingo" on the Arts Center grounds sponsored by the Lions Club during the annual Pan-O-Prog summer 4th of July celebration. The Lakeville Area Arts Center art studio is dedicated to the creative spirit fostering an environment that enhances individual expression and develops self esteem. A large variety of classes and workshops are available for both youth and adults including pottery, painting, photography, drawing, jewelry making and drama. It is the perfect place to shop for one-of-a-kind fine art. There is always something new and unique to see. I have visited many times and enjoy all their events!

My husband and I have been here several times in the past year. Our first experience was a dueling piano comedy routine, Deuces Wild, Dueling Pianos. The performance was delightful! The friends we went with that night suggested the Nat King Cole tribute the following month because we had had so much fun the first time there. It was another great evening! The stadium seating ensures a good view from anywhere in the theater. The acoustics were great as well.Lakevilee Area Art Center provides classes, a local gallery for artists, a theater for local and regional groups to perform, special events and a place in our community for people to enjoy the arts.
