Least favorite out of the Casa complex. Just average. Don't take a caddie, not needed. Some nice holes but the fairways were very burnt out
Loved this course in Jan 2013 - it was the first I played in the Dominican - and I was over-awed by the palm trees, great properties etc as you walk round. Didnt play it again this year as the other two are more stunning but sort of regret that as you have a better chance of playing "proper" golf round this one as you are less likely to be gawping at the views - I travel with the missus who does not play yet and loves the walk round BUT hypothetically was I on a lads trip this would have to be played as well BUT you cant miss out on the other two as you WILL find other courses like Links throughout the Caribbean but you will NOT find many like Dye Fore or Teeth.
This is supposed to be a scottish course in the DR....well, the palm trees and the tropical looking vegetation make it difficult to believe. However, the Links is a beatiful golf course. Being a 22 handicap player, I enjoyed it.....it is almost impossible to go out of bounds and the greens are large. So, although their is no easy golf course, I found it easy.
The course is very easy to play compared to its neighbor Dye Fore and The Dog of the Teeth. I love all the courses on the resort Casa de Campo.
Played it today. Course is in great shape. White Tees were challenging enough since I'm not very good. Weather was also perfect- warm but with a nice breeze. Used a caddie that I also recommend- Andy V. He made me feel very comfortable and was a tremendous help reading the greens. Course was wide open and finished round in about 3:15.
A nice layout but the course is new which meant the greens were firm and did not hold well. By next year it will be a great track.
one of 4 golf courses at casa de campo..great layout and fun to play...and you do not need a caddie, but the course is not as well marked with yardages as the other courses...so a caddie might prove useful..
Played this course a number of times really enjoyed it. can say a bad word about any of the three courses in the resort of casa de campo..
I played last weekend in the Links golf course. It's very famous and it certainly doesn't dissapoint me. It keeps the high expectations I arrived with. Unless you book a package deal, golfing there is very expensive so that's why i only give it 4 out of 5 stars.
Nothing to say but average at best. Poor conditions and very expensive to play. Layout is nothing more than an average municipal course and at $140.00 per person you would expect more. No holes on the water.
