I spent a week diving with Alpha Divers during October 2014 and thoroughly enjoyed my experience with the dive operation and the dive sites. I have been diving since 1966 all over the world and also worked at a dive service in the Bahamas in the past. The instructor/guide staff are very friendly, understanding and professional...they know their stuff and are very sensitive to meeting the needs of the dive customer. They are very safety conscious and inspire confidence in every dive they take you on. Alpha Divers are complete experts in the dive profession and really know the dive sites under all conditions. Diving the Zenobia with them was a super experience. Also dove the Alexandria, and Champagne wrecks with them...both excellent dives. Besides the professionalism, excellent equipment, a great dive boat, and super professional knowledge al the Alpha Diver people were very personable, friendly and relaxing to be with. After a few minutes with them you feel you have met friends and when the diving vacation is at an end you wind up missing them too in addition to the great diving. Thanks to Alpha Divers for a wonderful and inspiring dive vacation. I will see you all again as soon as I can make it back there.
Dived the Zenobia with Alpha Divers. Fantastic wreck - fully deserves its reputation and Alpha a great outfit to dive with.
We did two dives on the Zenobia during our AOW course with Alpha Divers. It was overwhelming, both the wreck itself and also the marine life around it! Alpha Divers are professional, customer oriented an truly care about safety and environmental issues. Highly recommended!
I have dived the Zenobia a lot and when I did it this time I was able to do a few more routes inside the wreck. The resident eel came out to see what was going on. Awesome diving experience for those who like wreck diving. No wonder this is a top 10 dive spot in the world.
What an amazing dive. Short boat ride from Larnaca. Great visibility. The wreck can be seen from the moment you jump into the water. It is huge and 2 dives was just not enough to explore the whole wreck. Bring a torch if you plan to go inside as it does get pretty dark in there.
Enjoyed this wreck. So much to see and explore in only 4 dives. Need 3 dives just to see all on the penetration. I worlds must for any diver.
Worked in Cyprus as an instructor and can safely say this is in my top 5 wrecks! Warm and clear waters make this a real treat from beginners to this type of diving to the experienced rec diver. Its popularity and well maintained guide ropes allow for safe assent am decent as well as deco stop markers. Highly recommended!!!!
Best wreck in the world.Lots of sea life.Greater all year round.Alpha divers - best place to dive with.¡!!!¡!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's very difficult to describe the feeling you get when you first dive on the wreck. I was very lucky to do my first wreck dive on the Zen, it's huge Just under 200m long and perfectly preserved. The fish are not shy and will get in your face which is perfect if you're taking photos. I would be doing it injustice if I continued describing it. It's definitely a must do for all divers worldwide!I dived with Coral Bay Divers who were brilliant as always and it was definitely worth the 100km drive up to Larnaka.Food and Price obviously depends on which dive centre you go with and which boat you go out on. I went on the Queen of Zenobia in November and didn't have any issues with it. If you're planning on going in the Summer I'd suggest booking this trip in advance as it is very popular and for all the right reasons!
