  There are great health benefits from eating blueberries, and when fresh picked; how can you not love them??? We've been going to Southwestern Michigan for years for blueberries, peaches and apples and just this weekend, by accident found Blueberries of Indiana in northwestern Indiana.The farm is close to major highway, yet worlds apart. A very well kept farm with plenty of shade and picnic tables if you want to enjoy a quiet moment before or after picking these delicious berries. They also have ready pick, which we elected for yesterday, as we found them in late afternoon. We bought 10 pounds of blueberries, some to enjoy now, and most to freeze for the remainder of the year. So delighted to have found them, they've been around for over 50 years!! Lots to do in the area as well; Hesston Steam Museum, Lake Michigan Beaches, Restaurants, Wineries and more!!www.blueberriesofindiana.comClosed on Tuesdays
