There are a lot of beautiful things to see at Cockrelll, but I think the prices are a little high. There are several buildings that house different kinds of kitchen equipment. It is a fun girls day out.
Cockerell Merchantile is a wonderful day trip for anyone in this area, either as a resident or visitor. Four historic buildings house the most complete kitchen, home goods, and gift selections. One of the cottages houses Fiesta ware. Another is a complete baking store. The main building has so much it is hard to describe. Only the best brands are represented. Some gift food items are available. A great place to make a gift basket for someone. The business is owned by a wonderful young couple, Becky and Chris. Stop by, you won't be disappointed.
We love to walk around this place and just see what it has to offer. I love the baking shop the most. They have such an amazing array of cookie cutters.
Cockrell is a place you cannot go just to "window shop". It has everything for kitchen, home, bake ware, decorating, even gourmet foods. I found the exact cherry pitter I needed after looking and looking in other places. If you are in the area, you need to visit Cockrell, specially during Christmas. It's beautiful!
I had heard allot of things about Cockrell I was excited to go. It has very interesting decor in each building. Lots of Feista wear and dishes plus cooking items.I found it to be very pricey and not really a place to find a bargin. I am glad I went but I won't return.
Although I had seen their billboard numerous times, this was my first visit. This place is amazing. Four themed buildings filled with unique home and gift items including an outstanding Fiestaware offering. It's worth the easy detour off the highway. We'll certainly be back.
This is a great stop right outside of Lees Summit, MO. Great kitchen items in all the different shops. Everything from aprons, dish cloths, and soap, to Pans, spices, and jams. They even have a whole store for Fiesta Ware. Definitely go check out Cockrell's!
Great shops, something for everyone. If you need anything for the kitchen, tons of kitchen gadgets. They have food items too, or just get a cup of coffee and browse. Gift shop is also very cute.
This is a picturesque place consisting of an old time general store and several outbuildings. They have gourmet cooking utensils, unusual condiments, wonderful jams and jellies and tableware for all tastes.First class all the way. WARNING: They are usually sampling some tasty treat.............sample with caution. You will want to buy a little of everything. If you eat before coming, you may leave with more of your funds intact !!!Well worth the drive. Highly recommended.
Quaint little set up in Lee's Summit that offers a wide variety of kitchen wares in several different buildings. The buildings are separated by a walking path with lots of outdoor seating should someone need to sit. Each building offers a different type of item which makes it an interesting experience. I took friends there the last week of April when all the blossom trees on site were in full bloom. It was a fun experience and I would highly recommend a visit.
