This is a very nice location to visit. It immediately takes you back to the past. Nicely restored. When we visited there was a bookmarket going on.
One of the best buildings in Lille with a book market in the inner courtyard. Right in the centre so very easy to find. Nothing to dislike.
Nice building, great architecture, witness of the great history of the city of Lille, ... A must see when you are in Lille.
Interesting books from crime paperbacks, old copies of Vogue to rare editions along with some glass wear and stuffed birds. Also original copies of posters and prints. Copies at reasonable prices.
I was hoping to see the cloister type internal square. However everything was closed. It looked fairly interesting from the outside in a prominent position in the middle of "The Grand Place".
Seeing such a building in the middle of the city is always a pleasant experience. It is very similar tot the building style of Flanders
great place to buy some old book or stamp collection. Open every weekend, the place is wonderful chance for you to find some "vintage" stuffs.
The exterior of the building is very beautiful. Inside the old stock exchange you have some people selling their old crap. Could have been converted to a place for food and music
Unfortunately it was closed when we were there but the views of the outside are breathtaking. Do the ferris wheel and you will get great views of the entire city center.
In winter or in summer, this building is always so beautiful. Inside you will find a small market, selling anything from old books to old currencies or old coins...worth walking though..
