New and beautifully designed ball park with very good food. Twice a year dogs are allowed in the center field "Bleacher" park-like area.
This was our very 1st Baseball game we had been to, and it was a blast!!! Food was cheap and yummy, and drinks were great too!The entertainment afterwards was great, a band playing!! Had a ball....
Lookin' for a good ball park-type hot dog. Got a greasy polish dog of some sort. At $8 or so, I was disappointed.
Somewhat out of the way and uneventful. But nice sight-see, especially if you enjoy baseball. Not much otherwise.
....Any day the Aces are playing! This is another local hotspot and always a great time to see some baseball.
To me, the popularity of baseball is unfathomable... 17 minutes of sheer boredom followed by 7 seconds of excitement - that you probably missed because of the 17 minutes of boredom. However, the Aces Stadium is a great people-watching opportunity and there's always something going on in the stadium (even if there's nothing happening on the field). We took a recently-arrived German university exchange student who ended up living with us for a year. Baseball is NOT a tradition in Europe and he was totally confused by it all but had a great time. When they were throwing balls into the stands, I got a ball for him and it turned out the American throwing the balls was fluent in German, making for a significant memory for our student.Everybody seems to enjoy the Aces games... though nobody seemed to be much of an ardent fan. It was, it seemed to me, more of a social event and just downright audience fun - despite the boredom of the game itself. We'd go back
Great ballpark and the games are always fun. Only real criticism is the food is a little pricey but then I find that to be true at every ballpark. Prices are very reasonable for a family outing.
This is a great baseball park. All the seats are great. It is a great place for a fun family experience. Easy access, parking etc.
The Reno Aces Ballpark is a surprise. Walking in on the upper level, you'll see the ballpark spread out below, its inviting green fields contrasting with the eastern sky. The general admission section, a hillside lawn, is great for families with kids (and there's a nearby bounce house for those times when they lose interest in the game.) With plenty of seating (almost all of which is great), a variety of food venues for the hungry fan, and decent prices, the Aces ballpark is a summer treat.
Beautiful setting, friendly crowds and interesting AAA baseball. Especially nice on warm nights. Great ambience
