In my opinion this is the most beautiful golf course in Denver. It's not uncommon to see deer and the red rock outcroppings are simply spectacular.
Great golf course with beautiful surroundings. Well designed with appropriate hazards that make you pay attention to your golf game. Although we only saw on large mule deer, we were told not to be surprised if we saw bear, deer, elk or coyotes. Love this course
I played Arrowhead Golf Club on Sunday, October 19, 2014. It is absolutely a gorgeous and well-kept course. However, it took 5 hours and 10 minutes to play. Even worse, we were not that far behind the pace of play as indicated on the GPS in our golf cart. We followed a foursome of apparent beginners who (we estimated) averaged about 8 shots each per hole. This combined with their mulligans, lost balls, and poor cart etiquette was frustrating. To make matters worse, they kept up with the group in front of them. This was the expected pace. We never saw a marshall. If you have plenty of patience or a good book I would recommend this beautiful .course. Otherwise, I would find a course that has been keeping up with the USGA's efforts to speed up the pace of play.
Loved the cheap, easy choices this place had for lunch, as well as the mouth dropping views of red rock formations at the club. Makes you feel like you are at a super expensive, ritzy club, but really anybody can come an enjoy a good meal!
I am not a golfer, but the views from the surrounding Red Rock formations make this one of my favorite places to enjoy lunch or dinner in the warm days of Colorado. Near the Lockheed Martin Space Systems plant and South Metro Denver sights. Close to Chatfield State Park and nearby trails.
I have played this course a good 10 times and its always challenging, a lot of fun and the views are amazing. Weare mostly low teen handicappers , so we have a few beersgamble a bit and enjoy our time here.. a must do for visitors!
I have played here several times and absolutely love the course. It is one of the most beautiful courses that you will play in Denver and its most recent management has kept the course in very good shape. Fun layout. The only thing that you have to watch for is pace of play. I did play it one Saturday morning and they put 2 fivesomes out in front of us and it took 5+ hours.
This is a very nice golf course, with some interesting rock formations that stretch for miles. You won't be able to start playing without taking a few photos. We even saw some wildlife on the course. The course was in great shape. Great staff. Nice bar and lounge.Glad we played it.
I always bring any out of state visitors to Roxborough Park. It epitomizes the Colorado lifestyle. Beautiful homes erected in harmony with the amazing Red Rock formations. The homes are surrounding the "Not to be surpassed" Arrowhead Golf course . The clubhouse dining area has 360 degree views of this amazing area. The service is impeccable, the menu prices are reasonable and there is a variety of different foods available to people of all ages. This is a must place to visit.
A challenging but forgiving course with elevation changes and incredible backdrops. Green fees are a little steep for national park course. Gas carts are really slow and weak. Pace of play was acceptable. Take your camera!!
