It was renovated for European championship football 2012. Before it was not always pleasant to walk in the park, certainly not after rain. Now rain or not, you don't get dirty, or you've to disappear in the bush, for perhaps doing naughty things. Seriously now, it's a beautiful mix of a park and a forrest!
I always bring friends who visit L'viv to this park if they at all like parks. Clean, in order, not so large, not so small. Useful location. Beautiful small lake with birds to visit. Good playground and railroad for children. Somewhat isolated from outside which is especially great for park not so far from city center.
Wonderful park to stroll around in, run or hang out in. But it is not worth coming all the way to this park if you have little time to spend in Lviv.
Little bit off the city centre, this place is good to get fresh air
If you love running this is the place for you. Old trees and a great atmosphere will make your experiences unforgettable.
This park has been renovated completely and now beautiful for a fall walk. The Austrian history is very obvious. Beautiful planning. Compact but big enough to feel you take a break from the city. Take a walk!
I learned how to ride a bike in this park, but remember the park from a 6 year old's point of view. I was happy to see that it was bigger and more beautiful than I remember. Beautiful greens, paths to explore and climb, and statues make this a must see.
Stryisky is one of the largest parks in L'viv. There's a cinema in the center that shows cheap, dated movies. A recently rebuilt duck pond, very long running track, and a children's mini rail road. It's a bit less maintained that the parks closer to the center but it is where L'vivians go to rest. It's a great place to stroll, and very romantic.
The park looks a bit run dow by the state and therefore is nothing special. But there are a few things of interest making the bus or tram ride from the city centre worth it. The monument as well as the museum with different tanks outside are worth a look for instance...
This park is a favorite spot for our family. We visit it often. It is a great place to take a walk, jog or to watch the kids play. However, it is not flat. To get from one end to the other you have to walk up some steep hills. Lots of shade and lots of hidden walkways to relax. A must see!
