This is a very nice beach, a little off the beaten path but if you have time and a car worth going. There are not as good options for food in the kiosks but still a very clean and nice beach
To be reached by car. Beautiful bay, nice restaurants with wonderful view. Next to national park. Quiet beaches. Good place to surf.
Really nice beach, nice Kiosque one of the few still wild beaches in Rio. Only acessable by car. Quiet beach, but still has 4 to 6 places to eat. Bring your beach chairs, umbrella and towels. Really nice beach
The beach is a short drive outside of the main bustle of Rio and is great. it is unspoiled and has an amazing vista. easy to get to. Went during the week so it was not at all crowded. Keep going towards the end up a hill and you'll end up at a great Restaurant with an amazing view too.
There is no infrastracture around, only a couple of small bars, far away from hip crowds of Ipanema and the tourists of Copacabana. Really nice place surrounded by forests. I liked it a lot. However, it's important to go there early, otherwise you will not find a free spot to park your car.
This beach is the best beach close to Rio. We went on a Wednesday because on weekends it can get very crowded. The waves were high and I would not recommend it for bad swimmers because the currents are also strong. There are some surfers and local people at either end of the beach but the middle is near deserted. You need a car though or take the bus and then a cab. Not easy to get to.
Just another of Rio's world-class beaches. There is no development here as it's surrounded by parks. But they do have plenty of kiosks where you can get things to eat and drink.
Its a about a 40 min taxi ride (on the weekend without rush hour!) from Rio. The beach there is less crowded than copacapana and has some beautiful nature around it. If you got some spare time definitely worth a trip. I paid 120 Real one way. Might be worth arranging for a return taxi as there won't be any taxis around to bring you back.
Need a car or motorbike to reach this large beach. Usually bigger waves and stronger currents so not for kids or inexperienced ocean swimmers. Lovely to sit on the beach though, much quieter and cleaner than Rio's more famous beaches. Sand is very coarse, like small pieces of shell, and sticks to your skin like crazy.
you will find our better beach , you need arrive early to find a good place . you will find many restaurants ! fishes are very god here !
