took my husband here for his birthday did the ziplines and mega questquest.Cameron an robinson were our zipline guides they were funny and upbeat. Would definitely suggest doing zipline with them two.The mega quest looks easy but you'll definitely work up a sweat was overall really fun and a new adventure.
My best friend is visiting from Tampa, Florida. We had the best time and best tour guides possible! Very informative and it was awesome zippin! Totally worth the price.
This was very interesting. The old signs along the hall to the gift shop and some sort of kiddy play land were very worn. The ride on a vehicle through the cavern was interesting and it did not cost a lot. Interesting bit of history of the cavern and what it is used for today.
This place was awesome! Our guides were Kevin and Max--fun, funny, super helpful. There are lockers there for $1 and they offer pouches to connect to your harness to keep you cellphone or camera in. Just do it!
Our trip was fantastic. The cavern is so cool, and the zip lines are unparalleled. It's an adventure... no pansy zip lines involved. My friend took me to help me "conquer my fear of heights." It did not work. :) But it was a really terrific experience. Our guides, Isaac and Gage, were top-notch. I'd recommend making sure you catch Mega Cavern if you're in the area.
First time zip lining and I was very nervous! Our guides Doc and Emily put me right at ease! It was so much fun! Can't wait to do it again!
We had such a blast!! Our guides Matt and Cameron were awesome! We have been ziplining before but the Mega Cavern takes things to a new level! The fun is well worth every penny spent there!
We took a scout group ziplining today. Cameron and Robinson were our guides. They were excellent. Fun and very patient with us nervous first timers. I had never been ziplining before and this was an excellent place to try it out. The caverns are astonishing and I felt very safe and secure the whole time.
A fantastically unique experience that is worth a repeat visit. We recently came to Louisville for a show we were seeing, but needed something fun and exciting to do prior to fill our time. TripAdvisor had some great recommendations and the Zip-Lining Tour through Louisville Mega Caverns was AMAZING. Such a fun experience and totally left us in awe. The staff made this even BETTER! Our tour guides (Kelsey and Kevin) were absolutely fantastic. Professional, fast, humorous and a great time all around. I'd love to bring more people with us next time we visit. It's great for families, friends, couples, etc.I highly recommend this experience, if you get the chance or need something to do, it's reasonably priced and is an experience unlike anything else!
I was at a conference in Louisville and a couple of my fellow attendees asked if I wanted to go zip lining for 60 bucks. I thought they were joking. Then they told me it was in a cave and it was the only place in the world like it. I considered this and the fact that my wife wouldn't get on a zip line with a gun to her head and figured this was my only chance to check it out. I am so glad I did! It's not actually a cave, its a HUGE deactivated limestone mine. All of the zip lines are under-ground and take you through and over very cool and interesting parts of the cavern. The 60 bucks gets you about 2 and a half hours of zip lining. I have paid much more for less entertaining things. The guides handle everything, so all you have to do is enjoy the ride and the cool views. Our guides were Jess and Justin, and they should probably give awesome lessons to all of the other guides.Unless you're like my wife and have a completely psychotic fear of being more than 6 inches off the ground, DO THIS! It's completely safe, it's a blast, and you can only do it in one place on the entire planet.By the way, there's also a cool little ropes course for the younger kids. It's like the worlds most awesome jungle gym. Justin and Jess said they've kiddos as young as 7 on the zip lines, but if you're not comfortable with that, there are fun alternatives. The Mega Cavern is great. Well worth the money and time spent. I'll definitely make a return trip if at all possible next time I'm in Louisville.
