I went with my cousin to watch Wanda Sykes. The Palace is just beautiful. The architecture is unbelievable and all the details on the walls and ceilings will blow you away. The staff was also the most friendly and very helpful. The place was clean, including the bathroom.
Got to sit front row at a Lecrae concert and it was great!! Beautiful venue and had a great time! Staff was friendly and it was a good time!!
Recently saw Bill Cosby at The Palace- a beautiful old theatre that was renovated several years ago. At one time it was two movie theatres in the 60's and 70's. Totally remodeled in downtown Louisville. They also have classic film series in the summer-sometimes Hitchcock or old Universal horror classics for $5 per person. Worth the price of admission just to see this grand old theatre.
Just a beautiful venue. I think you could end up with any seat in the house and not be disappointed. We sat in row "R" about center stage and had a wonderful experience. The VIP tickets are worth the extra $20 since the first drink is complementary and the "cash bar" flat makes CASH!! They also provide hors d'oeuvre that were not bad at all. Parking was available in many locations and the area feels very safe. It's always nice to find a special place, especially when it's within your own city.
I have been to the Palace twice in the past few months. The venue only seats around 2500 people so almost any seat is good. The architecture is incredible. I think they call it Spanish Baroque. Sitting in the theatre makes you feel like you are sitting in a European plaza under the stars. The acoustics are great, too.
I have been to a couple of concerts and show at the palace and i'm convinced this is the best place to see a show. Not a bad spot in the place and the decor is amazing! This is the only place i will see someone in concert in Louisville.
Best place to see concerts, we total loved our seats and the view was elegant. We could not have had a better experience.
The Palace is absolutely gorgeous! One of my favorite venues now and I've only been there once. Saw John Mellencamp here 1/13/15 and had 2nd row seats. A night I will never forget!!!
We saw John Mellencamp here. Very ornate décor. The acoustics were fine. This is a smaller venue, which provides a more intimate experience over some other venues in Louisville.
I made my first visit here to the The Avett Brothers in October of 2014. If is a phenomenal venue to see a live show.
