I surprised my 11 year old daughter with dinner at the American Girl Place Bistro. The food was amazing and the service was excellent! Will definitely go back!
My grand-daughter, daughter, mother and I had the "tea luncheon". Great experience and fun way to enjoy girl time. Everything was a mini version of a real English tea time. Finger sandwiches, fruit kabobs and much more. Excellent!
If you have a granddaughter (or daughter) who puts pajamas on her American Girl doll every night before bed, the AG Bistro is a must. The food, the service, and the setting are all aimed at those little girls. You relish experiencing it with them once or twice during those brief years when it is appropriate. In that case, it is perfect. Otherwise, you should avoid.
Fun for shopping, lots of new product. Staff was great in helping the girls - one of the staff members fixed the loose head situation on one of the dolls for free, very friendly!
This is a high end store and is priced as such, the store is always immaculate and the service is the same - this is an internationally renowned store that supplies the exclusive American Girl dolls - if you are excited about American Girl dolls this is the place to be!
This location is smaller than other locations of AG but still just as special. The cafe was booked solid so we were not able to dine there. My daughter already has three dolls which she adores but she was determined she needed to add Kit. The staff is friendly and helpful but not pushy. We chose Kit the doll and I was glad no salesperson was trying to push any accessories. These stores are always pristine and organized.
We took my little sister to american girl and it was her favorite day of the last year! We spent hours looking at all of the dolls, outfits, and accessories. We scheduled Tea Time in the bistro and they brought out a high chair for my sister's doll. The food was really good - surprisingly. They deliver a box of questions to the table to help generate conversations, memories, and laughs. The staff were so accommodating! At the end of the night after having her doll's ears pierced, they brushed out and styled her doll's hair for free! It lived up to the expectations and made my little sister one happy little girl. Well done and worth a visit.
I never thought my husband would enjoy going to a doll store but when he saw the look on our daughter's face he was putty in her hands. The staff there aim to please. We bought our daugter one of the bitty twins back in August and after looking in the catalogue she wanted the boy doll. The next time we went back I asked if we could buy the boy doll and it was not a problem. I think the staff are great. The Grill is also a lot of fun to visit. The prices are fair and the portions are good too. Will be going back on the weekend with my niece. It will be here first time. Can't wait to see the look on her face.
I was a little bit of a skeptic. High priced dolls...not for the budget minded. However, my daughter had saved money for about a year and desperately wanted to the visit the store. We celebrated her birthday in their café and received beyond amazing service. We had ice cream and the two dishes we ordered could have fed 10! LOL! Well, maybe 4. We were impressed. We visited the store and a associate offered her help immediately. I let her know we were on a budget and my daughter was the buyer. She was so sweet to her and pulled every single outfit that was on sale. She was with us for a good 30 minutes without rushing my daughter. We also visited the hair salon. If you have an American Girl in your family, I highly recommend the basic salon treatment. It was like $20, but they cleaned the doll thoroughly and combed the hair and made it look brand new! Very impressive and super adorable how they set them up in their own little doll chair and give them the royal treatment right in front of the owners. Couldn't have asked for a better day with my daughter. Thank you AG!
Great place to shop and to watch the little girls come in with their dolls to get their hair etc. done
