There's a lot to see in the museum and I think the going inside a submarine was the highlight. There were a lot of children there when I visited and parts of the museum dedicated to children's activities. I bought a combined ticket for this museum and the art gallery/castle down the road and thought it was very good value for money.
Very much loved for kids & students; nice & clean, is like a big & interesting travel trought the mankind achievments & inventions; recomended!
If you have young children to entertain then this is well worth a visit. It is located across the road from Malmo castle, and on the edge of Kungsparken (the King's Park). The museum contains several aircraft, a submarine that you can explore and various entertaining child orientated experimental tasks for curious little minds, on the upstairs level. The children I have been with especially loved trying to chase the aircraft that were projected flying onto the floor. Great fun.
This is a super museum 'cause it's full of technology and you can find the description of all those machines in English, no need to speak Swedish . For guys is more than fun!
Its more for people who love history and interested in science. Yes it has some sections for fun , but its a informative place with war aircraft and the submarine in display . Do have atleast 2-3 hours to visit it fully.
technology through the indistrial period. quite interesting. a real submarine is also on display. there is also a an exibition of malmö's history. you can easily spend a couple of hours here with the kids.
Lots of cool things too see. In addition it has a really attractive interactive science center. It is centrally located next to a nice park.
A real mix of exhibits but really interesting and worth going to see. From Jet planes to a submarine and everything else in between. We really enjoyed it!
We were visiting Malmo and looking for places to go. This was high up on the list and it did not disappoint. Well to start with it did, purely because some of the write ups had no english. We kept going round and more and more started to appear. The power room was great, including the submarine, it was really enjoyable walking through one! Then the best bit. We went up stairs to the "games" room. The interactive things were amazing. We loved it, the brain challenge was our favourite, well Marks, as Annie lost. If pushed for time, head upstairs first and you will love it. Go, don't think about it, just go... and for a bargain price too. Not sure how much, but know it was cheap and it also gets you into other museums, if you have any time left!
One of the best museum i have ever visited. You can see a lot of of cool and interesting things, touch them, see how they work, learn something new. Most of all i was impressed by science exibit, a must-visit place if you have kids! They will come out smarter then they were when they came in!
