Local art, jewelry, etc. 16 Main Gallery is a community of professional working artists, sharing one of Madison, Alabama's beautiful historic homes. Each artist has his or her own studio in the house, along with a gallery and shop where you may purchase art created right hrere!. They also offer classes, workshops and other artful activities. Madison's number one place for local art. Website www.16maingallery.com Phone 256-325-0161. Hours Tue-Fri 10-3, Sat 10-5. Meeting rooms available. (In the summer, come early, about 10 a.m., as the few window air conditioners do not keep the whole house cool on hot afternoons.) Afterwards, shop at Jacklyn's Keepsakes a block or so to the east, and/or eat at Main Street Cafe across the street.
