I enjoy finding the old forts and anything historical so I thought this was a cool spot ... Got some great photos.... To bad you can't get inside though .... If you're a history buff check it out!! .....
I would have liked to have spent more time here, but we had just finished dinner, and stopped here for the view and a bit of walk...in the rain, in the dark.... was beautiful even then with the waves crashing on the rocks and the lights across the way....can't wait to go back!!!
Great view of boats going in at out of harbor and lighthouse as well as Boston on the horizon. You may run into a groundhog there.
Great ocean breeze and fabulous concers and events. Annual Arts Festival site and cool for 4th July fireworks
This is a place were a visit to sit down and stare at the ocean in many different directions. It is peaceful , tranquil and a great place to contemplate.
This is a great place to wake up to. I would recommend coming here very early in the morning to watch the sun rise! Don't forget to bring your camera (and tripod)!
Marblehead is one of five places that lay claim to being the birth place of the Navy. Fort Sewall, formerly an armed fort owned by the United States and used to defend against British invaders, is now a beautiful park in Marblehead with magnificent views of the Harbor.
Needs to be restored - interesting and would be well worth it! More info about the place on site would be great.
Not large, but an interesting place to visit, with an historical perspective and a beautiful spot to sit and look at the bay
Very nice park with amazing history....you can see into the kitchen of the old fort....wish you could see the dungeon! Nice benches around to sit and watch the boats & water!
