We stumbled across this in our recent visit to Bath, and I'm so glad we did! The ice cream is beyond this world amazing (I had the one with ginger pieces in it)- and the price is so reasonable considering the quality! There were so many flavours to choose from, and I'm envious of people living around the area who get to try more flavours! if you pass by, don't miss the chance to indulge in this ice cream heaven!
I first tasted this ice cream in Lulworth Cove branch ..so far ..it's the best ice cream I ever tasted . I hope they don't change their recipe ..and I hope they will sell this in tesco so I don't have to go to sea side . And I wish they'll sent me goodies so I could taste all the flavours and share it with my friends or store it my freezer so I don't have to go seaside or zoo on a cold weather . Xxx ice cream lover .
Thanks so much for the fantastic review! Hope to see you on the farm again soon!
Excellent Ice cream made to a very high standard. Amongst the best I've tasted. Obtained from the farm shop and served by an efficient, friendly and knowledable young man.I will be back!
Wow - thanks so much for the really great review! Delighted to hear how much you enjoy our ice creams! Hope to see you again soon!
Hi LesleyThanks very much for taking the trouble to write a review. We are delighted to hear how much you enjoyed our ice creams. I’m sorry, however, that you were disappointed with the set up of our parlour at the farm. Yes it is just a draughty farm barn; I’m afraid this is not a glitzy American style ice cream parlour! We are very much a working farm as well as an ice cream making business, and are proud of our unique Cow to Cone set up – to stay true to this our parlour is one of the original 17th century farm buildings – indeed many people like the fact that the parlour is a simple set up. You are right that we ought to make this clearer, so we have added a line to our Buy from the Farm page on the website to make this extra clear. We aren’t able to say we are just a shop because many people love to sit a while in the sun outside or inside the barn and enjoy their purchases, but you are right, perhaps ‘parlour’ is misleading – we shall certainly look into this. We are sorry to hear about the issue of the lack of napkins and spoons, we will certainly look into staff training. Thank you again for getting in touch.
Hi Cathy, thank you so much for your kind review - and we will pass your message on to the lovely team of staff we having manning the parlour!
After a beautiful visit to Dryham house and gardens for Sunday lunch we saw the signs for the ice cream parlour. Amazingly witty banter from the two young gentlemen serving and help with choosing the right icecream. Lots of info on how eco friendly the Farm has become. Also a video to hand to show how to make some fantastic cocktails. Well worth a visit. Brilliant finish to a sunny Sunday x x
We popped in here on our way home from Gloucester today. We had previously visited some time back and it was just a small shop. The updates are impressive. Our little boy was delighted to stop off for ice cream and the bribe of ice cream stopped him falling asleep in the car. The parlour had a huge choice of flavours, cones, toppings, sundaes etc... The lovely lady serving opened a back door on the parlour and showed our little one a new calf and a glimpse of the cows being milked which he really enjoyed as we had explained to him how ice cream was made recently. We sat on a bench over-looking at a field of cows and the rolling countryside beyond. A welcome break.
We are delighted to hear how much you enjoy our ice creams! Very many thanks indeed for the fantastic review! Do keep in touch with us on twitter, instagram or Facebook.
