Had a great time for our Daddy Daughter day. But I think she is ready for a Bigger park. I wish they had more Big Rides here But looks like I am Off to Ohio this year.
I have been to a lot of amusement parks, from Utah, to Colorado, to Pennsylvania, to Florida, and Michigan's Adventure has been by far my favorite! You get some much for your money and the lines are not as ridiculous as Disney World.
I went there in August and even if it was a bid crowded you could still enjoy it. The wave pool were so great ! and there is enough for parents and kids to spend all day there. You can even enjoy a snack while you are there. There are lockers to put all your stuff while you are enjoying yourself. A huge car park too ! What do you wait for ??? just go !!!!
Not a big as Cedar Point or 7 Flags, but shorter line at a much lower price. Two parks In one, a theme park and water park combined!
IIt's not a huge park, but it has enough rides and games to keep you an your family busy for a day. Maybe two days if the weather is good and you like the water park. We have enjoyed going there. With our children as well as our grand- children
Michigans Adventure is a great place! I plan an annual trip for my family every august and we love it! The park might be smaller, but they have so much to do inside, and the amusement park and water park for the same price is great! people complain of long lines, but it comes and goes, and lines are standard at parks. my advice is after you pay to park, drive up to the front and pay the extra $5 for VIP parking, you are so close to the entrance and bathrooms, its great. I also pack a cooler with lunch, snacks, drinks etc. and folding chairs, and we have lunch in the parking lot. We have a great time!there is also alot to do in the area, great gorgeous beaches and you are a short drive from the silver lake sand dunes! michigans adventure is definitely a summer dont miss!!
Who needs to drive out if state for an amazing day filled with family fun. No One. Michigan's Adventure provides all the fun. My husband and I go every year in July to this theme park. The price is reasonable but dose seem to be increasing. Tickets used to be around 15 dollars now their 23 per person. But the water park is included. The lines are not bad even during weekends. There is an all you can eat BBQ near the water park which is of great value for families. We continue to visit for the location and value of two parks. Be prepared to pay for parking, lockers, and any extras as their not included.
Michigans adventure is a wonderful place to spend a day with the family. Come early and stay late because there is lots to do. This is not a mega park, but don't be fooled, it is large with many rides. Kids rides and world class rides also. The price is right and parking is all close by.If the weather is warm the water park will add many more hours of fun to your day. Also, the water park is not a small thing either.
Michigan's adventure has an amusement park and water park all for one price. The lines are not as bad as major amusement parks, therefore you can ride your favorite ride more than once.
Being a roller coaster enthusiast, I don't find this place to have a great collection of coasters or thrill rides and I wouldn't advise someone in the same vein coming here for thrills because you won't get them here, but if you have small children or children at 48 inches, this is a great place to get the kids ready for the likes of Cedar Point. Lots of kid rides and the water park is free. I'll say this though, the water park is typically very overcrowded because the dry ride area isn't very good. If your going for the waterpark on the weekend be prepared for long lines and a lack of space to walk.
