My family and I went to an open house for Dreamland Alpacas and were surprised at how very cool the whole set up was. We were able to get up close and personal with the adorable alpacas which made for some great photo ops. We really knew little about these animals prior to this visit and David, one of the owners, was not only warm and friendly but offered a wealth of information about the animals. The facility itself was easy to find in this beautiful community right outside Abingdon. But not only can you leave with great pics but their onsite store has gorgeous hand made scarves, gloves, socks, teddy bears (you name it they probably have it) made out of alpaca fur. Overall great experience and well worth the stop when in the area.
