Hey recently visited iskcon temple with my family....its nearby Juhu beach...po\eople can visit temple and than go to Juhu beach....Its so peafull place..
Great vegetarian food, nice n serene atmosphere. The buffet is fantastic,a great place to be for pure vegans including Jains as they cook food without any garlic n onions. The sweets are just wonderful n the overall ambience is great.Visited by celebrities very often n you would not be surpised to meet one of them for sure.
Excellent all-round arrangement for devotees - from keeping the footwear to having prasad after the darshan of Lord Krishna. My children like to see the enactments of various scenes from Hindu mythology.
it has the best prasada and the temple are amazingly best ever with everything so planned and systemised.
although this temple seems a little far, it is worth the trip. the parking is a little messy, but once you manage to get in, you will feel satisfied. It is a beautiful, well managed temple, even when it is crowded, it is peaceful as it is very spacious, which allows you to actually sit down and meditate..
They have a great buffet service - especially for veggies and Jains. Their welcome drinks are fab! The Jal jeera water, fresh juices. Also like their starters samosas, doklas and deserts. In main course I like the noodles. Peaceful environment, a place to go with family and relatives.
You will be spell bound to see the beauty of the temple. Don't exit from the temple without having food there.
We visited this temple as part of a tour arranged by Mumbai Live (separate review) and it really is a beautiful temple. The carvings on the building are really intricate and are truly stunning. Many pieces hewn from one rock so a mistake would have been disastrous which just goes to highlight the sheer & total skill of the mason.Whilst there is a fairly busy street outside the temple grounds were very peaceful, just the gentle noise of tourists in awe of the place. We removed shoes and left them with one of the staff and went in to the temple itself on the upper floor. As we went up the carvings were still very noticeable and continued to amaze me.The inside of the temple was beautiful with lots of highly polished wood and a wonderful altar area at one end.One of the staff / adherents approached us and gave us a garland, blessed us and explained the religion and the temple. This was an added bonus for us and there was zero pressure, just a real desire to impart knowledge and history to visitors.I felt very much at peace in this temple, whilst it was busy there was pervading sense of calm that I liked very much. No other temple in Mumbai was as peaceful in an inner sense than this one for me.With the artwork, the stone carving, the architecture, the insight into another religion and the welcome we had it would be hard not to highly recommend this temple to any visitor to Mumbai. It is certainly very deserving of your time, a really beautiful place.
Pristine and Pious two words which come to mind when you enter this temple... Placed near the beach one should plan his/her day accordingly..
Temple is clean and peaceful. Do enjoy the great vegetarian fare which is both hygienic and affordable.
