Gorgeous out door space. park, trails and more nature than you can handle. Recently opened to the public, this former private estate is just stunning . well maintained and full of wild life. A birders dream with chickadees that want to eat from your hand and will willingly do so.. great thrill for kids of all agescompletely free, and just the place to walk the dogs and hike through a rare Carolinian forest that is ancient.In the heart of the city, but once you enter the forest trails, you forget that. It's quiet, calm and beautiful here. Along the river you can see fish, birds, deer and foxes.Highly recommend this place as a get away within the city limits.bring your camera.
