WVU has a reputation for being a party school, and the residents of Morgantown like to complain about the students frequently. WVU Students become excited after a Football game, because they have pride in their University. If you need help finding a building, or anything in Morgantown, the Students of WVU are more willing to help you out than the Residents in Morgantown.
Morgantown is a great place to be and experience the WVU atmosphere. Can't go wrong to visit and see the local scenes.
We went and watched the women's basketball game. Really enjoyed it and the fact it was a supercharged game and the women won.
The nicest university employees we have ever met. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful. The atmosphere at WVU is positive and energetic. We loved it!
WVU is a great school to attend, and a great place to visit if in the area. Filled with rich history, there is plenty to see and do on campus, as well as in Morgantown.
What can I say? I am a WVU fan. I bleed blue and gold, so yes, my review is that WVU is the greatest university in the...
Very sprawled out but what big campus is not? Downtown campus is beautiful. Old school buildings but upkept very nicely. I am not from wv but I could not be happier with my choice. Forewarning, walking the campus can be very tiring due to everything being in a hill but just think, it will get you in shape :)
Went to WVU for a college tour with my daughter. All I can say is the place felt like home. Friendly people that are down to earth from working class families. There is a sense of community and pride from all that we came in contact with. The recreational center was amazing. The hospital was an unbelievable learning center with employees who were professional, caring, and genuine. The medical campus was enormous with a great diverse opportunity for different medical professions. The engineering campus was impressive. We would be proud to send our child to WVU.
We like morgantown, but hate the drive because we aren't used to the city we like staying at the Ronald McDonald House too. We stay there because my medical card pays for the stay because of my daughters medical condition.
We just recently moved into a vacation home we had at Cheat Lake. We are really enjoying the area. There is so much to do here especially sporting events, but also cultural and general recreational activities. We live outside the city so we don't have to deal with the city traffic, noise, etc. the city has two interstates and a highway system that enables one to get to shopping and many other areas without actually going into the city and avoiding city traffic. We've only actually lived here for a few months now, but so far it's been excellent
