Beautiful area. Wish we could have gone to a concert. Enjoyed the small museum area of bands who have played here. There Resturant was a delightful surprise . I had the salmon salad and my husband had the cod fish sandwich. Very very good.
I truly enjoyed this place with a concert of Sting & the BBC Symphonic Orchestra. The combination of nature, the most beautiful sunset, warm weather and Sting... heaven
The museum is a must see! There are displays and exhibits of all the concerts that have ever been performed here
If you can see a band here I would highly recommend trying to see them at red rocks! The sound and place is amazing!!
Red Rocks is amazing. The view is beautiful of Denver and the bands are always super stoked to play there. ALWAYS bring rain gear just incase. I have seen 30+ shows there and it almost always rains at some point lol. If you are out of shape or can't do many stairs park in the top lot and take the side entrance. Also a blanket to sit on for all day shows is a must. The Bratwursts at the concessions stands are actually worth the $5 they cost. However, like most venues Beers are like $8.50 so pre-game in the parking lot. Bring your camera you will need it!
Take time to climb around and then stop in the museum. Quite a marvel to consider the construction of this place back in the early 20th century...Even without a concert you can hear the amazing sound quality that the natural rock formations and the man made amphitheater provides... We visited on a sunny day and lots of people were recreating in the amphitheater...
This place is excellent to go to. We wish we saw a concert there. I recommend any one visiting the Denver area to check this out.
We loved the hiking and exploring at Red Rocks! We did the stairs at the amphitheatre, then the paved trail up and around to the left which took us back to the parking lot where our car was. My husband then drove around to the bottom of the short trail that led down to the road while the kids and I hiked that quick trial. Next we headed to the Trading Post (undergoing renovations) and took the 1.5-ish mile trial around there. The kids loved it and we loved it! There was some whining, but we found great places to climb and explore to minimize that! Wonderful area to hike with kids!
This is such a beautiful place - even without a concert. The view of the valley (and Denver) is outstanding from this unique amphitheatre. The visitor center is pretty basic but has some interesting information that you won't want to miss.
Do yourself a favor and get here. You will not regret it. The views and sound system are amazing for any act you will see.
