The closter is beautiful and it is in full harmony with its spectacular surroundings. You can make a walk, jogging or bike ride in the area, enjoying the freshest area of Schwarzwald. If you are jogging in the montains area you can build routs to the local attractions in the radius of -10 km and thus combining sports with site seeing. Munstertal itself is a good location to stay if you are visiting Schwarzwald. You can reach the destination by the local train, but car is better. I have heard that one may stay in the monastery, but then you are advised to check whether you have some special obligations due to the place status. Someone told me that you can stay there just for donating from you free time for some works, but in fact did not check the issue. If like local drinks, try munestertal liqueurs.
