Surprised after many years this is still the only mall in the area. We have been gone for 30 years from Pa. and don't see much change in that time
Been to many regional malls and by comparison the Lycoming Mall is my favorite. There are only one or two closed or empty storefronts at best. The mall is kept clean and well decorated. The people who work there and shoppers give the place a "family" feel. The sense of security is good with not a lot of lurking teenagers just hanging out. Bathrooms are clean and well lit but they are all in the stores. There are only two restaurants in the mall building, a Friendly's and an Arby's. There is a McDonalds and excellent food at the Hooplas complex nearby. I think the mall would benefit greatly by adding a Chilis or other well know food vendor on the property. As malls go the offering of stores is pretty standard. The Lycoming mall has a good number of "anchor" stores in Sears, Penny's, Bon Ton, and Macys. For sports enthusiast a Dick's and Gander Mountain are easily assessable. The theater has 11 screens and is well maintained. My wife and I both enjoy the Lycoming Mall and prefer it over most others that we have visited.
I wish they had a directory inside. Nice clean mall with a huge variety of stores, if you have time stop in for a Chinese massage that was a huge treat for me, I left feeling very relaxed!
Surrounded by major retailers like Sams, Gandor Mountain and Best Buy, many major restaurants as well.
I personally like this mall , It has alot of what i like .Plus it has stores around it that i like , Gander Mountain for example.
varied stores, great hours, great sales, plenty of parking
Been coming here for years. Nice and clean. Not a bad mall, no skater punk kids or gangstas roaming around. Lots to see and do. Kids ride the carousel every time we come.
Visited on a Saturday evening. Mall was dead. No real places to eat here other than a friendlys, subway or Chinese place. Otherwise it had the typical stores. There is a best buy nearby. Nothing special here.
As far as I know in the Lycoming area it's the largest mall, sometimes they have cool events going on inside the mall too, like sometimes they do a petting zoo, hunting expo, pet expo, crafting expo, etc.
Lycoming Mall is well maintained with many choices and just starting to get restaurant opportunities with the addition of Cracker Barrel. Would like to see a Longhorns, Chili's, Corabas or some additional dining choices. IMAX theatre options have been well received.
