Whow what an interesting museum to visit, incredible history of Country Music for the Oklahoma State and so much knowledge that can be learnt. The curator Ronald Boren was an absolute star, told me so much about all the artists, the area and everything about the complete music scene. I am a big fan of Merle Haggard's song "Okie from Muskogie" so to visit Muskogee and this museum was a real treat. Keep up the great work that you do guys, my visit was one of the highlights of my trip to the USA .

Although the museum itself wasn't that impressive to me, the knowledge of the gentleman running it was great. He could go on and on about stories of the many pictures they had hanging up. However, it wasn't very big and other than the pictures there wasn't a ton of stuff to see.

Wasn't sure if we were in the right area of town, but there it was in an old railway building. Love when buildings are reused. Oklahoma has an amazing music background. You will find the guided tour so full of wonderful information. A real jewel for a person who loves to know the rest of the story, all for a donation of your choice. Do visit this museum when you are in the area.

This is a place that is great for people who love music and are interested in learning about musicians from Oklahoma. Ronald Boren was our guide, and he is a musician himself. He is extremely knowledgeable of EVERYTHING music history and all about the musicians from OK. They have some good exhibits as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I'm not sure younger people would enjoy it as much as those who grew up in the 80's and earlier.

Oklahoma has a RICH music history with some of the all time greats. We attended a fundraiser at the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame recently. Such a neat old building with many years of history. I really enjoyed it. I truly wish they had more financial backing to help this place grow. Oklahoma's music roots run MUCH deeper than many people realize and funding to help bring light to this is important. if you find yourself in the Muskogee area stop by and just take in some of nostalgia. It truly may open your eyes to Oklahoma's Music Heritage.

I did not know that Oklahoma had so many famous musicians. I loved how the museum has items in hands reach that weren't locked away behind glass. It was totally surreal.
