Amazing views from this beautiful Par 3 course. It is tricky but well worth the challenge of maintaining par.
Not your typical Par 3 course. Many of the holes are long, and there is plenty of challenge. The views are often beautiful. Course is part of the Fairmont Southampton, but you do not have to stay there to play it. Pro shop is very well stocked.
I love this course. Perhaps it is because I suck at golf. It is a good, short, par-3 so i can feel like i can hit controlled, long shots! In any case - the course is in good nick, and pretty tricky & technical in parts, with lots of hills, water, and some really spectacular views. we did a few sunset rounds with my teenage son and his friend and had a great time. we found as many balls as we lost (double digits). We did one round with 'Mr C' who is a wonderful old local golf pro. Real old-school. Perhaps 80+ if it is not impolite to guess. He was great and got both our swings in good order. Charming man. ask for him at the shop. he can get you out on the course on a sunset round which, if you need a bit of advice / lessons to confront bad habits or come back to the game after an absence - was good value.
Tough course. Bring lots of balls because if you don't hit the green your ball will sink into oblivion.
In the States many Par 3 courses are nine holes, poorly maintained with course layouts that lack imagination. When in Bermuda don't limit yourself to the famous PGA courses like Port Royal -- get a warm up on this beautiful 18-hole beauty. No matter what your skill level, your short game will get a great workout. The greens and fairways are well maintained with spectacular views, the rental clubs were almost brand new, the staff was friendly. We would have returned if we had more time on the island. The pace of play was fast enough that you can plan other activities on the same day. My wife and I will remember this day as one of the highlights of our Bermuda vacation.
Really helpful staff, looked after our clubs no problem, buggies easy to drive, provide water and views just divine all over course!!
I'm not a pro, but it was a lot of fun. We played twilight (it starts at 2:30!) and got 15 holes in. It's just an amazing setting, particularly the front 9. also, supposedly conde nast's top 5.
Short but tough , lots of hills , amazingly well maintained , world class greens , reasonable price ,great quality rental clubs .
This is a great executive par 3 course. Lots of change of elevation and some really challenging holes. Most are between around 120 and 150 yards but there are several at 170 ish and the 14th, at 200 yards, is a real test. This course can be enjoyed by golfers of all levels.
My wife and I are beginners, but we really enjoyed the 18-holes we played at Turtle Hill. A fun course with plenty of challenges. Top notch rentals and very well maintained, even off season.
