There isn't much here but if you are on the south part of the island, it is worth stopping for the view. You can see the south beaches, the wind farm, and look back to see a good bit of the island.
lindo lugar, mut turistico, se ve toda la playa , y hay una iglesia muy linda tambien , donde esta lleno de turistas, hay gente local vendiendo comida y bebidas.
The “Lighthouse" is just a small turret. Around it are the remains of the four gun emplacements, which were built in the Second World War and actually were used. It is nice to see such pieces of history The hill is rather bare, but the road to it has nice rocks and there is a nice view. Beware of the cacti when you go out for a walk.
After Baby Beach, You can access on this point of view with your touriste car. Beautiful view but nothing more. I thought see the natural bridge but it was not the good way.
There is a natural bridge in this area and I went on the walk in search of that. Having not researched the area, I chose not to go over the edge of the bank. Plus, I had my two travel buds waiting for me in the car and would not want to worry them, cuz you could not see me from the parking lot. A neat area. Could be tons of adventure. Lovely views. I found more info on the trail to the bridge here-naturalbornhikers.com/gallery/seroecoloradobridge/index.html
Follow the road you took to Baby Beach, as it meanders across the seaside. You'll end up climbing a hill (Jeep is best) to a lonely end, where a lighting 'tower' remains. You are at the lower corner of Aruba, and the rock formations and sea crashing in....well, it's difficult to describe. Take some good shoes, and get to the edge, and see for yourself...
The lighthouse is located on north side of the island . Alot of island tours stop there. You can see the ocean crashing into the rocky beach to the north.all the hotels to the south.and some really nice sunsets. You can also drive there in a car. There is also a very good italian resturant next door which also offers a very good veiwing of sunsets. Thank You Mark S.
This is a fun place to stop. Make sure you get your fresh coconut drink! The area has a good size parking lot and there is a restaurant up here that also has a rest room for a fee of .50 It is well worth the 50 cents and they keep it very clean. We didn't eat here but it was beautiful with a scenic view to eat on the porch either totally outside or under roof.
