We went to the TPAC to see Blue Man Group. Definitely will go see Blue Man Group again in the future!! They are fantastic. I was also impressed by TPAC. It's a beautiful venue, and I don't think there are any bad seats! Easy to see and hear from anywhere. All the staff we encountered were courteous and helpful. One thing I will do differently next time we attend an event at TPAC will be to go buy my tickets at the ticket booth to see if I can avoid the fees for purchasing online. Each ticket cost us $10.75 in fees on top of the ticket price.
We saw a play at TPAC and the facility was marvelous. The staff were very attentive and helpful. I was a little worried at intermission when I saw all the women heading for the same bathroom. I thought I would never make it back on time to see the rest of the play. To my surprise, the bathroom was HUGE! Many stalls with attendants there to show where the next available stalls were. This kept the line moving very fast.....I got back to my seat with time to spare!Sound quality was wonderful and seats were very comfortable! I would go back. The play was great!! (Book of Mormon)
Loved the experince, great venue. Granddaughter danced her first time with The Nashville Ballet. Centrally located to everything, very couteous staff.
Wonderful production and a lovely facility. Only complaint was how long it took to retrieve our car from valet parking after the show. I had someone on a cane and we were standing outside (in the cold) much longer than what I would have expected.
This was a nice venue to host a dance competition. Parking was atrocious, however. When there is a high-turnout event like this, parking should be reserved, or it should be hosted in a venue with parking.
Enjoyed our first visit to the Nashville Performing Arts Center and Jackson Hall to see Nashville's Nutcracker. The orchestra was incredible, the ballet and costumes very good and loved the theatre itself. Nice venue! Plenty of snack and cocktail options before the performance and they let you take your drinks and food into the theatre as well. Get there early and you may be able to find a parking spot on the street a couple of blocks away and save parking $. Can't wait to go to our next event there.
This theater was easy to get to. There is a parking garage attached and you can (and should on weekends nights) pre-pay for parking to reserve your spot. We found parking on the street for free but it took several trips around many blocks and we had to walk 3-4 blocks. There is a bar in the lobby, but the line was long and the drinks were twice the price of what you would pay elsewhere, which is typical for a theater bar. You may take the drinks into the theater with you. The theater seats are very comfortable. We sat on the Loge, which has stadium seating and a completely unobstructed view.
Visited Nashville a couple weeks ago for the Blue Man Group show. Had an absolute wonderful time. We love this theater. There isn't a bad seat in the house. We were also allowed to take our beers to our seats which was a bonus! Thanks TPAC!
Just saw Kinky Boots with wife. The show was excellent. Entertaining and fun. The seats in orchestra are comfortable, but clumsy for other theater attendees to navigate past you to their seats. Not sure there's a better solution, but it would be nice if someone would try. Also, why is there no restrooms on the main floor? You have to go down stairs or elevator to visit the facilities. Who thought that was a good idea?
LOVED THE SHOW! But the auditorium was rather hot- almost uncomfortable! Check your coats in. Drinks are VERY HIGH priced! You will have fun here! Great SHOWS!
