When you enter the hotel you immediately see magnificent woods on the floor, doors, furniture, bar, and ceiling. One main room has beautiful antique vases and very large sculptures with life size wicker dragons. The wicker furniture is the most creative work of art I have seen. The food is expensive but great. Luxury at its finest with its own private beach and small boutique shops..
quiet cove with no soliciting, this private beach has a chill vibe with minimal people - the menu was minimal but good and they host nice boat rides from here. It's $5US per person to stay for the day.
My son and daughter in law had their wedding on the beach at Half Moon Bay. The wedding was coordinated by Isabelle and it was simply perfect. White folding chairs, a canopy decorated with tule and ribbon, poinciana flowers strewn on the beach, two steel drum musicians, a very capable minister, perfect ocean views, sun and shade, the owners daughters quietly playing at the edge of the water, all made for the perfect setting. There was a restaurant on the beach, but the bride and groom chose Charella Inn for the reception site. Peaceful, clean, secluded, and quiet, the perfect setting for a wedding, renewing vows, a family picnic, or a few hours in the water.
We renewed our Wedding Vows here with the help of Isabelle of Weddings by Isabelle. The whole day was lovely we were looked after by Isabelle and met the owners and their two lovely daughters. If you are thinking of renewing your vows Isabelle is certainly the person to contact because she arranged everything to perfection for us
Try the bamboo rafts, go out to the island. Do some swimming, or catch a cruise around the bay for sunset. It is all beautiful.
This couldn't entails be a nice get away. It is rustic but that's fine. Beach is a little small but if you want to escape the bother of 7 mile then it might be for you.
The experience was decent,,,we did not stay at the resort,,but visited by mare chance...mainly for couples who would like to get away from the excitement..private and clean.offers a different feel of paradise.went back the following day and the experience did not change...going back this month and i am going to stay there for a few days to absorb the jamaican life.
A small beach, shallow water, quiet. Just take a book and relax. There is a small restaraunt for a refreshment or launch.
We were treated really well from arrival to departure. Stop in the first time on our way to Negril. We had a fantastic lobster lunch. We made a vow to return and spend an entire day, which we did. We went snorkelling on the reef, were kidnapped to a tropical island for lunch, and then safely returned to the beach. Was a great day.
Where on Earth would you rather be...seriously!! We spent hours there ad didn't even know it.. Super secluded, gret drinks, food and loungers!! We will be coming back there to rent a cabin on the beach..love this place you HAVE to go there!!! A bit of a drive but you wll see why.....
