Didn't like using the wrist band to pay for things in the park as we weren't sure how much to put on at a time , so keeper on having to top up .
Spent a great day here today, all ages of children and adults catered for. Brilliant thrill thrides as well as relaxing ones. Nice pools for swimming in too. Good choice of food and drinks. Plenty of umbrella'd, shady sunbeds for everyone that you didn't pay extra for. Wrist bands topped up with a credit card as you enter the park, so that you can be cashless all day. Variably working credit card machines, so be sure to take cash for entrance fee or debit card to use at the park. We got there at 0940, park opened at 10, and this meant you could get on all the tyre and non tyre rides easily without queues. No queues at 12.30 either whilst everyone had lunch. Extras (paid for separately) include a fish foot spa and massages. Crew visible, plentiful and helpful. You can enter the park at lunchtime for half price, but queues longer then. Also a live concert every day. We stayed for 6 hours and loved every minute of it. Thoroughly recommended.
i have not taken children to this park before until a few weeks ago.....2 x twelve year olds 1 x nine year old and 1 x 8 year old and all were charged as adults so in my opinion this is a usual Bulgarian RIP OFF...other than that a fab place....
I stayed in Sunny Beach for a week in August 2014 and I visited Aqua Paradise in Nessebar during this period. I admit that I am an aqua-parks enthusiast and I visited a couple of them in Hungary and Spain so far and the way I will describe Aqua Paradise is in regard to those. They offer free transport from the neighboring resorts, which is nice. The entry fee for a full day is 38 LEV and they don't offer discount for students. Food and drinks are not aloud to be brought inside, except for fruits and water. They check your backpack when you get in. The locker costs an extra 3 LEV (with an additional 5 LEV deposit in cash) and the safety deposit box costs 5 LEV. The food and drinks you buy inside must be paid with your bracelet, which you should charge when you get in (you will get the rest of unused money at the end of your visit). The prices of food and drinks are average and they offer pizza, durum, sea food, hamburgers, pancakes and ice cream.A small incident that I had: after I got in I deposited all the cash that I had left on my bracelet. Then I wanted to rent a locker, I scanned my bracelet to pay 3 LEV for it, and I was ask a 5 LEV deposit in cash, which I didn't have. I left without a locker key and I decided not to take a locker anymore, but I was still charged the 3 LEV for it.And now about the slides: they have some very cool slides that I didn't see anywhere else (Tsunami for example). They have many rafts rides. It is great that most of the time when you wait in line you are inside the castle, in shadow, and not in the burning Bulgarian sun. A minus is the thing that people are not aware that they should give the raft to someone else waiting for it after the ride and they keep it even if you ask them for it. Some of the staff tried to solve this, but they were too few. This didn't happen in any other aqua park that I visited. The slides stop at 18:00 and the park closes at 18:30. They offer free rides back to the neighboring resorts. I would visit this aqua park again.
Fantastic Waterpark with lots of the latest slides. Spotlessly clean with cheap food and drink. Booked as a Thomson excursion as not really any cheaper if you go direct. Worth noting though that minimum height for all the main rides is 1.3 metres .The rapids are also pretty fierce so I welcomed the life jacket for my daughter . When the waves were switched on for one of the lazy rivers even the adults were screaming !! Also some of the walkways were perilously slippy...
wish we could have gone everyday!!!Having the money put onto wristbands so you don't have to carry it round is a good idea too!
Best waterpark we have been to and should we ever visit Bulgaria again we would definitely go back a few times!
Visited the park twice during our stay. First visit it was very quiet, clean and well organised. Thought wrist payment was brilliant (popped 50 lev on two wrist bands and picked up balance at end of the day) food reasonably priced and loads of choice. Free bus worked well. Second visit 3 days later and was very very busy hard to get inflatables and lots of pushing and shoving but still enjoyed the day. Fab slides etc and plenty to keep you busy.
Had a lovely day here with my hubby , 2 daughters and a few friends.Place was very clean and loads to do never seen my girls..Food and drinks were a good price.Liked the fact you didnt need to carry money around you got a band for your wrist and when you bought anything you just swiped the wrist band and it came off you credit gave you a receipt so you know what you have left and you can top up if you need to, and you get your balance back when you leave, lockers very cheap for the day.We went the last week of the session was too busy but still have to wait for ages to get served for food would be a nightmare high session but they maybe have more staff then.
Got the free bus from sunny beach, we went on the last day of the season. Slides were really good. Park was clean and the food was nice and made fresh. Great value for money
