Attention Art enthusiasts: The Carriage Barn Arts Center is a small gem located in beautiful Waveny Park, New Canaan. If you happen to be in the area you might want to check out the fun exhibits set in the unique nineteenth century stone barn. I have been there for several different openings and it never disappoints. The new directors go to great Lengths to bring interesting art and promote it with diverse groups. Last Year's exhibits included Cuban art and a child-friendly exhibit where kids of all ages were encouraged to "touch" the sculptures. If you're visiting in the summer, Waveny Mansion is next door.
