Again in Nikiti, (Sithonia-Chalkidiki) in Greece, and again visiting various beaches…Since my spouse has a terrible sea sickness, we travel by car, and we discover new places by the road. There is only a small sign “Ag. Yoanis Beach”, and a small coffee and grill bar and the dusty road. You will find the beach some 2,5 km south of Nikiti, or 1,2 km after the crossroad nikity / Sarty / Nea Marmaras ( on the road to Nea Marmaras). Cristal clear water and nice beach, but if yoy want to see the best of it, you will need your own beach gear, lots of sun cream and drinking water. Of course, you can use the benefits of the small coffee, but there is most crowded.
Clear water in this long beach. There is a flat rock, which you can easily avoid. This year there is only one bar, in which you can have a coffee or eat something. The toilet is really dirty, so try to avoid it! The coffee (frappe) costs 2.50 euro. The area is dirty, because many tourists leave their garbages around! Next year a hotel will be founded, so enjoy the silence....
This is a great beach which simply must be on your list of beaches to visit in Halkidiki! It has crystal clear water and the rocks at the end of the beach offer a good opportunity for snorkelling. The beach is long and it's organised as there are two beach bars. However, these beach bars seem to take up more and more space every year and leave little space for the public.
Beautiful natural beach. Sadly the council did nothing to remove a massive burnt out shack in the middle of it!
A lovely little cove with crystal waters and clean sandy beach. Popular with families, but if you go there early you can enjoy the beach on your own. It's ideal during the sunset hours, when it's quieter, but take company with you. It helps.
This beach is not very crowded; maybe this part of the year; which makes it very relaxing especially with the magnificent view, clean and clear waters, no waves and soft sandy beach.
Since we rented a car, we chose to camp out on the beach rather than pay the resort fees. This beach offers a beautiful view, a quiet place to rest, and even has food trucks that come in each day. Overall, it was a great spot to rest and relax for the day.
A great beach that is just a short bus ride from Mykonos Town. Not too crowded but popular...my advice is to arrive early in the day. Has all the necessary amenities with on the beach service, a beautiful view, calm waters and very relaxing. Great for families and those wanting to avoid the crowds. Nice restaurant and bar within steps of the beach.
One of the nices beaches we've been. The water is shallow and there are no waves. The sand is nice. It's easy to reach and therea are 2 beach bears at one end, but better stay in the "wild" area.
Caribbean like clean turquoise water, great beach bar Aqua Heaven, lush vegetation, beauty and calm.
