Thank-you very much for taking the time to review our Private Curated Tasting experience. We look forward to hosting you again on your next visit to the Willamette Valley wine country.
We had a great afternoon of tasting at Adelsheim. The grounds, tasting room and location are first class. Had a very knowledgable tasting room assistant. Its conveniently located near other wineries. Put this one on your list.
Dear DSH, Thank you so much for the kind words! I was thrilled to see your most recent review of our tasting room. We look forward to your next visit. Sincerely, Katherine Stalmann
One of the most varied selections of wines in all of Oregon. Sure they offer Pinot Noir but they also have Chardonnay, Syrah, Pinot Gris, Rose and auxerrois......I love he choice of local hazelnuts as a palate cleanser. I like the Syrah and pinots the best. The staff was great and really know the area and all the wines
Wish we could remember our server's name -- remember she was a school teacher and so very knowledgeable. Told us the history of this vineyard and served us our delicious tasting wines.
This a beautiful property to visit. It is near other wineries. The tasting room and building itself are really visually appealing and tastefully done. The staff is great and the atmosphere is relaxed, Allysa hosted our tasting and she did a fantastic job. She was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The wine was excellent. I highly recommend a visit here. I will come back whenever I am in the area.
we toured Willamette valley, Dundee, McMinnville etc.and Adelsheim was probably the best overall experience we had, even though it was a crappy day. a very nice, physical plant in a beautiful place with excellent staff and superb wine, very hospitable
The tasting room staff at Adelsheim certainly went above and beyond. We showed up later than we had expected, and not too long before closing. However, the staff were very welcoming, even allowing another couple who came in even later than we did to start a full tasting. The wines are very good, the room is big enough for multiple groups not to feel cramped. Would certainly recommend a visit.
I took our group here for the Vinter's Tasting and was not disappointed. Jillian took really good care of us and was by far the most knowledgeable tasting room hostess we saw all day. We were seated in the dining room (with great views) and were able to taste a number of fabulous wines. If you go to Adelsheim, take the time to do this private tasting....well worth the $75 fee per person.
We had bought their wine in the past back home in Chicago, but wanted to try some varieties not available in stores. We were not disappointed. Staff was friendly. Views were great. Wine was better. Ended up joining the wine club because we liked the wine so much. Tasting fee is waived with wine purchase.
