  We held my sons' 30th birthday party here and invited 50 of his closest friends, including small children. We rented it for 4 hours and we were able to bring in food, mostly salads, dips and salsas and a cake.. There was hot food advailable too, pizza, chicken fingers and fries. The beers and sodas were very reasonable. Everyone were given bolwling shoes (including the children) and you could bowl as long as you wanted. No one was rushed and there was room for the kids to run around without upsetting anyone because we knew everyone. My son had raffles and was able to use their speaker system to make announcements.At the end of the night, no one wanted to leave. This place has been here a long time and it is not fancy but it is clean and the owner and staff were very pleasant and great to work with. It reminded me of the bowling alley I used to go to when I was younger.

  Might not be the most up-to-date bowling location, but the atmosphere is nice. It reminds me of when I was younger and went bowling with my family. If you've never tried candlepin bowling, give them a try - it's lots of fun! I like that it's nearby in Old Town, versus having to drive to outer Bangor to bowl. They serve food and drinks at decent prices, their pizza is delicious! The owners are friendly and helpful. Definitely a fun place to spend a few hours with some friends/family.

  The candlepin bowling is a blast, the owners are awesome, the music is fun, the beer and food are good and cheap. We go all the time. The bathrooms could be a hint cleaner but other than that I love it! The more people the better -- we often get two lanes side by side. They got some new arcade games recently too.
