this is one of the most amazing beaches. absolutely immaculate and very quiet off season. a must visit on the cape
Natural Atlantic ocean beauty with sea bird, seal and sea turtle sitings a regular treat. Beautiful white dunes and rolling waves.
For 10 weeks this summer I spent every weekend on this wonderful stretch of coastline. Breathtaking in it's beauty, this idyllic location is a must-visit for anyone lucky enough to venture to Cape Cod.
In November, the beach is available easily with plenty of parking but no access to restrooms. I'm told during the high season, parking is at a premium. There are wooden steps you can take to get down to the beach and a landing with a couple of small benches where you can stand and watch the waves. During high tide, there is a narrow stretch of beach but it is sandy and nice. I love the sound of the waves. The waves aren't real high but quite nice. It is a peaceful area during the off season.
Our family has been going to Nauset Beach for 40 years and we are always completely captivated by its beauty. Can get crowded and summer, but what can one expect.
Fishing, seals, sun and surf and miles of it! The perfect morning beach run and sunset walk. Be careful of the under tow though..
Small, quiet, it was closed due to no life guards but gate was open. Gotta drive through town to get there.
we visited this beach at 7am in order to take some sunrise photos. Great location to do so with very little people traffic this time of the year (Oct). Photos turned out great!
A lovely beach to wander along with someone special even in October. The waves were impressive, the salt spray over the dunes was pretty, the sand soft, and the seals bobbing about in the waves were entertaining. Enchanting.
Though it is amazing in spring, summer & autumn, nothing beats walking Nauset beach in winter. Nothing. Give it a try.
